Art Naturals Essential Oils Review

Art Naturals Essential Oils Review

I admit I was tempted to check out ArtNaturals essential oils because the price tag is a meager cost. I saw them on Amazon and almost did a double-take after seeing how cheap their essential oils were. People have been leaving them positive reviews on Amazon, and they’re one of the “best sellers”.

But, as I’ve learned from past experiences, cheaper essential oils aren’t always better. Most of the time in this industry, if something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

I do have to admit that I’ve Googled “ArtNaturals essential oils reviews” and was postponed a little by the opinions. For instance, at, they got a five out of 10 rankings.

Additionally, the words “therapeutic grade” are printed on the label. They did state that their essential oils are adulterated, too.

On the upside, they’ve sold thousands of essential oils on Amazon and do appear to get favorable ratings. But, on this full ArtNaturals review, I’m going to show you what you get when you buy their essential oils.

So, now I’ll tell you a bit about the company.

ArtNaturals has been featured on many publications like:

Allure Magazine.

Shape Magazine.

Curve Magazine.

Bustle Magazine.

Refinery 29

Prevention Magazine.

People Magazine.

Business Insider

The Good Life.

The Doctor's TV Show.

There are two co CEO / Co-founders for ArtNaturals, based on their about us page. Their names are Osher Netkin and Joseph Nourollah. They also have an artistic director who’s Dusia Alekseeva.

They’re an LA-based company and claim to understand and respect nature equally. They also claim to “create exceptional but reasonably priced all-natural beauty and lifestyle products.”  Here’s a direct quote from Osher Netkin “Better to underneath promise and over perform, than to overpromise and underperform.”

Below I’m going to tell you about my expertise with ArtNaturals my experience using their essential oils.

ArtNaturals Pros

  • “Best Seller” on Amazon.
  • Have marketed themselves exceptionally well.
  • Cheap Price Tag.
  • Good Return Money-back guarantee.

ArtNaturals Cons

  • Proven To Be Adulterated.
  • Oils Come Out Of Bottle Too Fast.

So, now lets’ get started with this ArtNaturals review and see if they live up to their claims of making exceptional but reasonably priced all-natural products.

ArtNaturals Purity Test

The phrases “100% pure & natural” are printed on all of their essential oil bottles. Also, the words “therapeutic grade” are printed on the label.

Art Naturals Essential Oils Review

So, every time you purchase essential oils, you want to ensure they are pure. I have written about purity and essential oils that you may check out right here. If the essential oils are not “pure”, they don’t have any therapeutic properties. They’re just scents, and that is not what aromatherapy is about.

So, ArtNaturals essential oils bottles include the name of the essential oil on them. For instance, in my example, I’m using eucalyptus. ArtNaturals tells you how much oil is in the bottle; .33 fl oz (10 mL).

On the side of the label, it has the words “focus” on it.  (as a side note, I have seen mixing eucalyptus with peppermint and a provider oil to your temples (it helps with concentration). It shows the Latin name for eucalyptus is Eucalyptus globulus. Additionally, it states that the oil is from India.

Lastly, a warning label states you need to dilute the essential oils before applying them topically. Keep out of the daylight because photosensitivity can occur.

Lastly, the address Gardena, CA 90248 and their website is printed on the label. Total, it’s an excellent bottle design, however, sadly, this isn’t a fashion show, and my ArtNaturals review goes downhill from here.

Remember once I told you the words “therapeutic grade” are printed on the bottle. Well, there isn’t “grades” in the trade. Meaning that there isn’t a governing body that can say what is “therapeutic grade”. It’s a standard misleading claim that isn’t new in the essential oil trade. Here is proof.

ArtNaturals Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

ArtNaturals independently check their essential oils.   Meaning they don’t ship them to a 3rd party for testing.  They supply an analysis sheet on their website that shows the chemical compounds discovered in the essential oil. If ever the GC/MS report should come back with a note in the “comments” part, ArtNaturals claims it’s immediately rejected and returned to the supplier.   I was capable of finding a GC/MS sheet on peppermint from ArtNaturals. Here’s a screenshot of peppermint:

Art Naturals Essential Oils Review

One factor that strikes me odd is the above test; there are 8 “unknown” chemicals from their laboratory test. But, yet ArtNaturals still tries to cross off their essential oils as “pure”?

But, please maintain reading because I’m going to show you how I found out that these essential oils aren’t pure.

They Are Adulterated

So, a simple blot test will not present you with everything about the essential oils. I’ve to admit I am already on edge from quickly viewing their GC/MS test.  Seven chemical substances are marked as “unknown”?  It looks kind of fishy to me.

You need to do a GC/MS test to show you all the chemicals within the essential oils, And a third-party laboratory must do it. Sadly, the GC/MS test cost 1000’s of {dollars}, and I don’t have access to a laboratory to check the essential oils.

However, Dr. Robert S. Pappas (AKA Dr. P) of has run a laboratory test on ArtNaturals essential oils.

Dr P. did create a video title “SCAMAZON! – Essential Oil Scammers on Amazon”. The video can be found down below:

ArtNaturals Smell Test

Ok, hopefully, you’re still studying this review since I have shown you that they are synthetic blends just like Radha Beauty.

But, once I used it in an electronic diffuser (see URPOWER review), I noticed that the smell didn’t smell great. Meaning that the lavender-scented very off. They aren’t pure, and I have seen this time and time once more from testing out different essential oil brands.

Anyways, I put seven drops in my diffuser, and while I might smell them, it wasn’t a potent smell like the ones I’ve tried with Aura Cacia and Young Living.

Within 2 hours of diffusing these oils by ArtNaturals, I had to add extra drops to my diffuser.

They did come out of the bottle quickly like those I tested with Plant Guru.

Art Naturals Products

ArtNaturls does have a variety of totally different give sets. However, one of their most popular ones is this Eight-piece set. It contains 8 10 ml bottles. It’s a “Best Seller” on Amazon.

It contains the following essential oils:

  • Tea Tree.
  • Lemongrass.
  • Eucalyptus.
  • Rosemary.
  • Orange.
  • Lavender.
  • Peppermint.
  • Frankincense.

ArtNaturals does sell roll-on sets. These are for topically making use of your skin. For example, they sell a “Prime 8 Aromatherapy Essential Oil Roll-On 10ml Set”. They use jojoba oil as their service, and it includes:

  • Signature Serene. (anxiety and tension)
  • Signature Chi. (allergies, fatigue, and urge to overeat)
  • Signature Relief. (anxiety and nervousness)
  • Signature Cleanse. (focus, digestion, help clear sinuses)
  • Signature Zen. (tree, tension, headaches)
  • Signature Om. (nervousness, nausea, and depression)
  • Signature Solace. (anxiety, nausea, and over-eating)
  • Signature Bliss. (concentration, alertness, and mood lifter)

ArtNaturals has a gift set that features eight essential oils and a 150 ml diffuser. The diffuser comes in a wooden design finish and is BPA-free and eco-friendly. The lights do cycle between 7 different colors. There’s a timer on the diffuser for 1 hour, Three hours, and to leave it on until it runs out of the water; when the diffuser runs entirely out of the water, the diffuser will mechanically shut off.

Art Naturals Price

Again, these essential oils are a meager cost by Art Naturals. This is probably one of many reasons people buy them on Amazon. Down below, I will give you price comparability to show you how they stack up price-wise:

ArtNaturals (10ml)

Plant Therapy (10ml)

Edens Garden (10ml)

Aura Cacia (15ml)

doTERRA (15ml)

Young Living (15ml)

You do get what you pay for with ArtNaturals essential oils, though. They are cheap but artificial. People write many positive reviews on Amazon, but most people don’t understand the crucial oils that purchase them online.

Art Naturals Customer Support

One positive factor I can think to say about ArtNaturals is they do have an excellent money-back guarantee. If you’re sad with the essential oils you have purchased from them, they will give you a prepaid label, and you’ll ship it back to them.

Within 90 days of buying the product, you can return it. However, there is a drawback. Any of the marked products as a “final sale” or were a promotional or gift item can’t be returned.

Art Naturals Final Thoughts

While you could be tempted to try out ArtNaturals essential oils, I might highly advise you not to use them. They have been confirmed in a laboratory to be adulterated.  They use the words “therapeutic grade” on the bottles, which doesn’t hold any merit within the industry. While their price tag is lower than other corporations, you don’t get pure essential oils with ArtNaturals.

ArtNaturals has done a superb job at marketing themselves and has sold 1000’s essential oils.  They are a “best seller” on Amazon. But, the sad thing is people don’t know what they are buying. The novice essential oil consumer doesn’t have any clue that they are not purchasing pure essential oils.

There are a lot better brands of essential oils on the market. A couple of brands that I highly recommend are Plant Therapy and NOW. They are essential oils, and you can trust that they will not be degraded.

ArtNaturals gets a lot of positive reviews on Amazon.  However, they are adulterated essential oils.  Therefore, I do not recommend them.
